### When is the platform open for minting and redeeming Ondo Intelligent Portfolio tokens? Ondo Intelligent Portfolio tokens are generally available to mint and redeem during regular US market hours from 9:30:00am ET to 3:45:00pm ET whenever [US markets are open](https://www.nyse.com/markets/hours-calendars) — that is, during the Core Trading Session only, with the window closing 15 minutes before the 4:00pm regular market close. For platform and security reasons, minting and redemption may be briefly unavailable around the market open and close. That said, there are some times when specific portfolios (and/or the platform generally) may not be available. You can always check the exact status of what is and isn't available on the product page at app.ondo.finance. ### Why are the mint/redeem hours narrower than for Ondo tokenized stocks? Minting or redeeming a portfolio token involves buying or selling every asset in the portfolio's basket. To provide the best pricing and execution, these basket trades are executed during the Core Trading Session, when liquidity in the underlying assets is deepest. The window closes 15 minutes before the 4:00pm close so that all underlying trades can be completed while the market is still open. ### Are all portfolios always available during the mint and redemption window? In general, yes, but there are exceptions. See the next question. ### Under what conditions is minting and redemption halted? **All Portfolios** * Outside of the mint and redemption window described above * On all [NYSE Market Holidays](https://www.nyse.com/markets/hours-calendars) * If certain proprietary platform-level risk control thresholds are met * During scheduled or emergency platform maintenance **Specific Portfolios** * If any constituent asset in the portfolio is halted or unavailable for trading — for example, during a corporate action affecting that asset — minting and redemption are paused for the whole portfolio until the full basket is available again * If certain proprietary asset-level risk control thresholds are met for any constituent * During scheduled or emergency maintenance affecting the portfolio or any constituent Note: You can always check portfolio-level availability on each portfolio's product page at app.ondo.finance. ### Are Ondo Intelligent Portfolio tokens available for Off-Hours trading? No. A select set of single-asset Ondo tokenized stocks are available to trade during an Off-Hours session when the conventional sessions are closed, but Off-Hours availability is enabled on a per-asset basis and does not currently extend to portfolio tokens. Yes. The mint and redemption window applies only to minting/redeeming directly with the Issuer. The tokens themselves are freely transferable onchain 24/7 (subject to certain jurisdictional and other restrictions) and can be traded on secondary markets at any time. Note that when the traditional US markets are closed, liquidity in the underlying constituent assets are limited, so spreads may widen and a portfolio token's price may diverge more significantly from the underlying asset value in the portfolio.
